About this role
As our first sales hire, you'll build our enterprise sales function from the ground up. This is a full-cycle AE role where you'll generate your own leads through prospecting, networking, and partnerships while also working qualified inbound opportunities. Working directly with our CEO and founding team, you'll establish our healthcare sales motion and co-create our partnership strategy. We're looking for someone with proven founding AE experience who can take a technical product, build the sales function, and scale it to significant ARR. As we grow, this role can evolve into a Head of Sales position, leading the team you help build. This role offers substantial equity upside and the chance to shape the future of healthcare AI.
What you'll do
Generate leads by using outbound automation tools, traditional cold outreach, and networking to build a robust pipeline
Execute enterprise sales cycles to close 6+ figure deals with healthcare organizations, navigating compliance and procurement hurdles
Develop sales playbooks with competitive positioning and repeatable sales processes for the healthcare vertical
Establish strategic partnerships with channel partners to accelerate customer acquisition
Manage sales operations and pricing including pipeline management, forecasting, and enterprise pricing strategies that scale
Represent Amigo at industry events (including healthcare and AI conferences) to establish market leadership
What we're looking for
5+ years of enterprise sales experience, closing large deals
2+ years of selling experience in a single company with a proven track record of success
Founding AE experience building sales from scratch at an early-stage company
Full-cycle sales experience including lead generation, prospecting, and closing
Technical product sales experience (ideally healthcare SaaS or enterprise software)
Strong metrics orientation with systematic approach to pipeline and forecasting
Excellent communication skills for engaging with both technical and business stakeholders
Self-motivated and able to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
Passion for building reliable systems that can transform healthcare delivery
